If you haven\u2019t tried this stuff yet, do yourself a favour and order a bottle. It\u2019s the bomb!
\nHemp oil doesn’t just seal over the painted finish, it’s adheres to the substrate, making it bond with the paint and offers great protection against cracking, chipping and is also water resistant. It provides a low sheen, almost matt finish and provides more depth to coloured surfaces.<\/p>\n

Apply with a bristle brush, allow to stand for around 4 hrs, or overnight if you have time. Then rub over lightly with a lint free cloth or paper towel to remove excess. That’s it! You can buff lightly if you like a little sheen, or leave it for a Matt surface. If it still looks a little shiny, it will settle and become more satin-matt over a few days. Fully cured in the same time it takes for our Vintage Bird paint to cure – around 10-14 days.<\/p>\n

Our hemp oil is completely safe for surfaces where food is prepared making it great for chopping boards, and also to protect children’s painted timber toys.<\/p>\n
